City Search Review

This dark neighborhood bar has TVs in every sight line, and parents and kids come for the traditional pizza. Order flat and deep-dish pizzas with all the usual toppings and extra cheese. Most popular is "Tommy’s," with pepperoni, ham, mushrooms and green peppers. "The Best Italian Submarines This Side of Rome" are piled-high and come with secret-recipe cole slaw.

I used to work at Gonzalez Design and Engineering as a tool designer 1978-1983. We’d go to the Green Lantern Lounge for the double meat/cheese sub every 2-3 weeks as lunch like clockwork. I’ve not gone there since around 1985, so today I was driving by and slammed on the brakes, turned in the lot, and ordered a…..double meat/cheese sub!

Guess what? It’s every bit as good today as it was 25 years ago!

Great food, atmosphere nice.

Lived around Madison Heights my whole life, and anyone who thinks they have the best pizza place around them is wrong. Green Lanturn is by far the best pizza I have ever eaten. The b.l.t. has friends coming from as far as Howell on a weekly basis because they are addicted to it. Keep it coming!!

After reading all about how great this pizza was supposed to be, we had to try it out. Now the question is this? When will you be adding a Green Lantern in Canton or at least close by? The drive is too far for us to get pizza as often as we are accustom to and now we want no other pizza! Nothing compares now. It seriously is the best pizza we have ever had. Thank you, keep it up and keep expanding! (Canton would be a great location for your next expansion! 🙂

We now live across the country, however, whenever we are back in MI…Green Latern is our first and last stop of the trip. It is the most amazing pizza we have ever had! Our family travels throughout the world and there is still ONLY ONE Green Latern!!!

The Italian subs are what has brought my family back to the Green Lantern for over 20 years. They’re stacked high with ham, cheese, sweet & sour slaw, all on a toasted bun. For the perfect meal, add a frosted mug of beer. Yummmm!

Green Lantern has the best pizza around. The local newspaper as having the best pizza has voted them. There only down fall is the size of the place. It is usually full and you sometimes have to wait a long time to get a seat. I think I usually always have to wait for a spot. They also have a great sub and salad. I think this is one of my all time favorite restaurants. The prices are as good as the pizza taste.

Ok, I have really had it with the $5 pizza . I am so sick of getting the same BLAH taste from all the fast pizza chains. I decided to try Green Lantern and I am HOOKED! I have never eaten in the restaurant, but I order carry-out whenever we have pizza. I love the thick hand cut pepperoni and the thin cheesy crust. You can not beat this home cooked taste. They do everything right. If you haven’t tried it you are missing out. I even added them to my cell phone numbers so I can call when I am in the neighborhood. Order now and you will not be disappointed!!!!
